Ingredients:
1. Broken Rice - 1 1/2 Cup
2. Bengal Gram - 2 Tablespoons
3. Salt - 1/2 Teaspoon
Method:
For broken rice
Soak the rice for 2 hours.
Drain the excess water and dry them in a dry white cloth.
When the rice is completely dry, blend them in a mixer as a fine powder.
To a bowl add 3 cups water. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons bengal gram, close the lid and boil the water. Add 1 1/2 cup broken rice and mix so that no lumps are formed. Let the water boil for 5 minutes. Mix, cut off the flame, close the lid and let it sit for 5 minutes. Move this mixture into a plate. Wet your hands and make balls of desired size.Spread ghee or oil on an idli plate. Place the prepared balls on the plate. Put 1 1/2 glass water in the cooker and put the idli plate on upper level. Steam on high flame for 10-15 minutes without a whistle. Cut off the flame and open the lid after 5 minutes.
